Most dental offices are willing to train if you don’t have experience. There’s no one salary level for a dental assistant, as they vary by office. This is because the duties of the job are so different from company to company.
Some dentists may require much more out of their assistants than others do. Another opportunity in the dental field is that of dental hygienist. Your job will be to assist with cleanings, making sure patients teeth and gums are as clean as possible. It will be your job to clean their teeth professionally and treat any ongoing infections. Many surgeries require a bachelor’s degree before they will allow you to work with them.
