Letters Of Recommendation - The Screening Process

Job hunters spend a lot of time writing their resumes. resumes are the first step in job hunting. But although they are important, resumes are not the most important of all. Let’s say you’re the one responsible for hiring employees in a company. You won’t only be looking at a few resumes, if the job is really good, you would be looking to evaluate tons of resumes. You’ll probably also toss out those resumes that are not pleasing to the eye in terms of fonts, etc. It would be wonderful if your resume stands out enough to get picked but not too much that it gets tossed out. That’s where letters or recommendation come in; they give you a big advantage: they will be your assurance that your resume will get noticed in a good way and not get tossed out!
